Sometimes to solve some printer operation problems, or simply to add print functionality, it is necessary to upgrade the firmware.

The firmware with which to upgrade must necessarily be provided by 3DPRN itself. When will you receive the new firmware, what you will need is a file with the extension “.hex”.

If you have this file you can proceed with the upgrade. To do this, just go to the section “Instruments”of 3DPRN-WARE and click on the function “Firmware” (this operation must be performed with the printer directly connected to the pc via usb).

After opening the window “Firmware” just open the firmware file provided by 3DPRN

Once the, just press the firmware upload button to start the update

NB: During this operation, you must be absolutely careful that the printer is neither turned off nor disconnected from the computer.

When the message appears in the window “avrdude done. Thank you”, you can press the green ok button and then exit the procedure.
