What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) and that are read again on subsequent visits. Similar tools (for example the browser’s local storage or identifiers generated by scripts) work in a similar way and are treated in the same way on this page.
Cookies are divided into:
- technical cookies: needed to run the Site or to provide a service you have requested. They do not require your consent;
- analytics cookies: used to measure in aggregate form how the Site is used. Third-party ones that are not anonymised so as to be equivalent to technical cookies require your consent;
- profiling and marketing cookies: used to create profiles and show you targeted advertising. The Site does not use them.
Cookies can be first-party (set by the Site) or third-party (set by another party through the Site).
Cookie utilizzati dal Sito
1. Technical cookies (always active)
They are necessary for the Site to work and do not require consent (Article 122(1) Italian Privacy Code).
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
CookieScriptConsent |
3DPRN via CookieScript (first party) | Stores the choices you made in the cookie banner, so that it is not shown again on every page | 6 months |
__cf_bm |
Cloudflare, Inc. (third party) | Protection of the Site from automated traffic and abuse (bot management) | 30 minutes |
Turnstile widget cookies/data (cf_clearance or equivalent) |
Cloudflare, Inc. (third party) | Anti-spam check of the quote request form, to tell people apart from automated programs | Session / up to 30 minutes |
wpaiPrefs (browser local storage) |
3DPRN (first party) | Remembers the reading preferences you choose in the accessibility panel (text size, contrast…); it is created only if you use the panel and never leaves the browser | Until you press “Reset” or clear your browser data |
Consent management – CookieScript. The Site’s cookie banner is provided by CookieScript, a service of Objectis UAB (Laisvės pr. 60, LT-05120 Vilnius, Lithuania), acting on our behalf as data processor. To be able to demonstrate the consent you gave (Article 7(1) GDPR), CookieScript records a random identifier, the choice made, the date and time, the page, the browser type and the anonymised IP address (with the last part set to zero). The data is processed in the European Union. More information: CookieScript Privacy Policy.
2. Third-party analytics cookies – Google Analytics 4 (only with your consent)
The Site uses Google Analytics 4, a statistical analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), to find out in aggregate form how many people visit the Site, which pages they view, from what type of device and from which country, and so improve content and navigation.
These cookies are set only if you consent to the “Performance” category in the banner. If you refuse, the Site works normally.
The Site also uses Google Tag Manager, a service of Google Ireland Limited that manages how scripts are added to the Site. Since the Meta Pixel (point 3) is loaded through Google Tag Manager, Google Tag Manager is loaded only after your consent to the “Targeting” category.
We have configured Google Analytics 4 to minimise the data collected:
- in GA4 the IP address is neither recorded nor stored;
- Google Signals is disabled and the data is not used for advertising or profiling;
- data sharing with other Google products and services is disabled;
- data is kept for [2] months, then automatically deleted;
- we use Google Consent Mode v2 in basic mode: the Google Analytics script is not even loaded until you consent to the “Performance” category in the banner, so no data is sent to Google before consent.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Distinguishes visitors pseudonymously for statistics | 2 years | |
_ga_[MEASUREMENT-ID] |
Maintains the session state for statistics | 2 years | |
_gid |

_gat_gtag_UA_78684857_2 |
Limits the rate of requests sent to Google Analytics (Universal Analytics property) | 1 minute | |
_gat_UA-78684857-6 |
As above, for the Universal Analytics property loaded through Google Tag Manager (so only with “Targeting” consent) | 1 minute |
Google may also process data in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, recognised as adequate by the European Commission with its decision of 10 July 2023; the transfer therefore takes place on the basis of Article 45 GDPR. More information: Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
Up-to-date cookie list
The following table is generated automatically by CookieScript, which periodically scans the Site, and lists all the cookies actually detected.
3. Third-party marketing cookies – Meta Pixel (only with your consent)
The Site uses the Meta Pixel, a tool provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland), to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns on Facebook and Instagram and to show 3DPRN ads to people who have visited the Site. The Pixel records the pages visited and links them to your browser through an identifier; if you have a Facebook or Instagram account, Meta may link this information to your profile.
The Pixel is loaded, through Google Tag Manager, only if you consent to the “Targeting” category in the banner. If you refuse, no data is sent to Meta and the Site works normally.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_fbp |
Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. | Identifies the browser to measure advertising campaigns and show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram | 3 months |
For the collection and transmission of data through the Pixel we are joint controllers with Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Art. 26 GDPR), under Meta’s Controller Addendum; any further processing is carried out by Meta as an independent controller. Meta may transfer data to the United States: Meta Platforms, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR). More information: Meta Privacy Policy.
Apart from the Meta Pixel, the Site does not use any other profiling, remarketing or advertising cookies.
Links to social networks and Google Maps map
The Site contains simple links to our pages on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube and to the location of our offices on Google Maps. There are no “Like” buttons or other embedded social network content: until you click a link, these services do not set cookies through the Site, except for the Meta Pixel described above, which works only with your consent.
Map of the operational headquarters (only with your consent). The Contact page contains a Google Maps map, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited. The map is loaded only if you consent to the “Functionality” category in the cookie banner, or if you choose to display it with the “Show the map” button. Once loaded, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, according to its Privacy Policy. If you do not load it, the page still shows the address of the headquarters and the link for directions.
If you click a link you are taken to the platform’s website, which processes your data according to its own policies:
- Facebook and Instagram – Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.: privacy policy
- LinkedIn – LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company: privacy policy
- YouTube and Google Maps – Google Ireland Ltd.: privacy policy
Support chat (only with your consent)
A support chat (Rocket.Chat Livechat) is available at the bottom right of every page, run by us on the supporto.tips.it server. The chat is loaded only if you consent to the “Functionality” category in the cookie banner. Once loaded, the chat server receives your IP address and technical browser data and sets these tools, which it needs in order to work:
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
rc_is_widget, rc_room_type |
3DPRN – supporto.tips.it | Make the chat window and the current conversation work | Session |
store (browser local storage) |
3DPRN – supporto.tips.it | Keeps the state of the chat, so the conversation stays open as you move from page to page | Until you clear your browser data |
The data you write in the chat are processed as described in the Privacy Policy. If you prefer not to use the chat, you can always write to us from the Contact page.
How to manage your preferences
Cookie banner. On your first visit, the CookieScript banner lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential ones (also by closing the banner with the X) or choose which categories to enable. No optional category is pre-selected. Your choice is remembered for 6 months: during this period the banner will not be shown again, unless there are significant changes to the cookies used.
Changing your mind. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page, which reopens the CookieScript panel, or from here:
Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before.
Browser settings. You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings:
Blocking technical cookies may prevent some parts of the Site from working properly, for example sending the quote request form.
To opt out of Google Analytics on all websites, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Your rights
In relation to data collected through cookies you can exercise the rights provided by Articles 15–22 GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent) by writing to info@3dprn.com, and lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Changes
This Cookie Policy may be updated, for example if the services used by the Site change. The date of the last update is shown at the top. In the event of changes to cookies subject to consent, the banner will be shown to you again.
