Information on the processing of personal data pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018 (“Italian Privacy Code”).
This notice concerns the website www.3dprn.com (the “Site”) and explains what personal data we collect, why, for how long and what your rights are. For cookies, please see the Cookie Policy.
1. Data controller

The Controller has not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), as it is not required to do so under Article 37 GDPR. For any request you can write to info@3dprn.com.
2. What data we process
a) Data you provide through the Site’s forms (quote request and nearest dealer request): name, company, city, phone number, company contact person, email address and the text of your request. Fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory.
b) Data you provide when contacting us directly by email or phone.
c) Browsing data: the systems that run the Site automatically collect certain technical data sent by the browser, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, date and time. They are needed to run the Site and protect it from abuse.
d) Statistical data collected with Google Analytics and browsing data collected with the Meta Pixel, only if you give your consent through the cookie banner (see the Cookie Policy).
e) Data you provide in the support chat (Rocket.Chat Livechat): name, email address, printer serial number (optional), the messages and any files you send, plus the technical connection data (IP address, browser).
The Site is not aimed at children under 18 and does not knowingly collect special categories of data (Article 9 GDPR) or data relating to criminal offences (Article 10 GDPR). Please do not enter them in the request field.

Providing the form data is optional, but without the mandatory data we cannot reply to your request. Consent to Google Analytics and to the Meta Pixel is freely given: if you refuse it, the Site works normally.
We do not use your data to send you newsletters or promotional communications, we do not pass it on to third parties for their own marketing purposes and we do not carry out profiling or automated decision-making with legal effects (Article 22 GDPR). Should we wish to do so in the future, we will ask for your specific and separate consent. The exception is the Meta Pixel, which we use only with your consent to the “Targeting” category to measure our campaigns and show you 3DPRN ads on Facebook and Instagram: for these data Meta may carry out profiling as an independent controller, according to its own privacy policy (see the Cookie Policy).
4. How we process data
Data is processed with electronic tools, by authorised and trained staff (Article 29 GDPR), with technical and organisational measures appropriate to protect it: encrypted HTTPS connection, anti-spam check, restricted access to the company mailbox.
Requests sent through the form are not stored in a database on the Site: they are checked and forwarded by email to the mailbox info@3dprn.com, where they are handled by our staff.
5. Who we share data with
Data may be processed on our behalf, under a contract that binds them (Article 28 GDPR), by these data processors:
- Aruba S.p.A. (Italy) – hosting of the Site and of the contact form, mailbox from which the message with the form content is sent;
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) – Turnstile anti-spam check of the form;
- Google Ireland Ltd. (Ireland) – Google Analytics statistics, only with your consent;
- Objectis UAB – CookieScript (Vilnius, Lithuania) – cookie banner and recording of consent choices;
- [Provider of the info@3dprn.com mailbox] – company email management;
- [Provider hosting the supporto.tips.it chat server, if external] – storage of support chat conversations;
- consultants and professional firms (accountants, lawyers) for administrative, tax and legal compliance.
Data may also be shared with authorised 3DPRN dealers in your area, only if you ask us to put you in touch with your nearest dealer and to the extent necessary to reply to the request. [To be confirmed: if dealers receive the data, this should also be stated in the dealer form text.]
Finally, data may be disclosed to public authorities when required by law. We do not disclose your data publicly and we do not sell it.
With your consent to the “Targeting” category, the data collected with the Pixel are transmitted to Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., joint controller for their collection and transmission and independent controller of any further processing (see the Cookie Policy).

6. Transfer of data outside the European Union
Some providers (Cloudflare, Google, Meta) are based in the United States or may process data in non-EU countries. In these cases the transfer takes place:
- to companies certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, on the basis of the European Commission’s adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 (Article 45 GDPR);
- alternatively, on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission with Decision 2021/914 (Article 46 GDPR), together with the supplementary measures provided by the providers.

7. Links to social networks and Google Maps map
The Site contains simple links to our pages on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. There are no social network plugins or embedded content: no data is sent to social networks until you click a link, except for the Meta Pixel, which works only with your consent to the “Targeting” category (see the Cookie Policy). When you visit our social pages, the processing of your data is governed by the platforms’ own policies:
For the statistical data of our Facebook and Instagram pages (“Insights”) we are joint controllers with Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., under Meta’s joint controller addendum.
Google Maps map. The Contact page contains a map of the operational headquarters provided by Google Ireland Ltd., which is loaded only if you consent to the “Functionality” category in the cookie banner or choose to display it with the “Show the map” button. When the map is loaded, Google receives your IP address and technical browser data and processes them according to its own privacy policy. More details in the Cookie Policy.
8. Your rights
At any time you can exercise the rights provided by Articles 15–22 GDPR:
- access to your data and to information on the processing;
- rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- erasure (“right to be forgotten”), where applicable;
- restriction of processing;
- portability of the data you have provided to us;
- objection to processing based on legitimate interest;
- withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. For processing based on the cookie banner (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Google Maps map, support chat) you can do so from the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page or with the button below.
To exercise them, write to info@3dprn.com. We will reply within one month, which may be extended by two months for more complex cases (Article 12 GDPR).
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome – www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live or work.
9. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice, for example if the services used by the Site or the legislation change. The date of the last update is shown at the top. In the event of significant changes, we will highlight them on the Site.
